RRP Electronics has received 100 acres from the Maharashtra government and announced a phased investment of over Rs.36,000 crore. However, the project faces serious credibility scrutiny — the company disclosed in November 2025 that it had ‘yet to start any sort of semiconductor manufacturing activities’ and its annual report showed only two full-time employees.
